TMAs allow multiplexed protein expression measurement, but require a difficult combination of computer image analyis, workflow, and rapid pathologist review
Tissue microarrays are a useful approach for multiplexed biomarker expression in tissues, particularly when tissue sample sizes are limited and multiple biomarker analyses are required. Our pathologists have many years of experience working with TMAs. To do analysis efficiently requires a careful combination of the right hardware and software technology, plus a combination of image analysis and rapid pathology review. Study design is also critical, and the right number of replications should always be considered.
We offer full-service TMA analysis, including managing the histology preparation or simply the analysis.
In addition, our FACTS IHC multiplexing technology is particularly well suited to tissue microarray analysis, extending the number of biomarkers and reducing the time spent analyzing each array for the appropriate tumor or organelle areas.
